TicketOS Help Guide How to Distribute and Allocate Tickets
2
Why Distribute or Allocate Tickets?
Typical Usage Once inventory is loaded on TicketOS a decision must be made as to how the tickets will be managed. Distribute vs. Allocate After inventory is initially loaded on TicketOS, the inventory should be distributed to an associate designated to make decisions on ticket utilization. This decision maker will determine if the tickets should be (a) released to the public for all associates as first come first served, (b) made available on the wait list as taking requests, or (c) assigned directly to a specific associate. The decision maker will then allocate the tickets to one of these three ticket request methods, after which associates can place requests and orders for the tickets. *Please refer to your corporate ticket policies for exact specifications TicketOS Help Guide© Proprietary + Confidential Last modified February 12, 2009

Why Distribute or Allocate Tickets?
….Distribute vs. Allocate continued Please note that tickets can be distributed from decision maker to decision maker, before a final decision is made on how inventory will be allocated. Also, inventory which has only been distributed (not yet allocated) is only being temporary held in the decision maker’s name. This associate is not financially responsible or accountable for the guest list for these tickets as they will not be the final user of the tickets. Recap 1st step = Associate loading inventory distributes tickets to decision maker 2nd step = Decision maker either distributes tickets to another decision maker or allocates tickets to public, wait list or directly to another associate *Please refer to your corporate ticket policies for exact specifications TicketOS Help Guide© Proprietary + Confidential Last modified February 12, 2009

Distribute VS. Allocate
Types of Allocation If tickets are allocated to the public, they are made available as first come first serve to all associates. The first associate to complete a request for the tickets and receive management approvals, if necessary, will receive the tickets. If tickets are allocated to the wait list, multiple associates can complete requests for the tickets. All requests which receive management approvals, if necessary, will be submitted to a Wait List Approver who will review all requests and determine which request will be granted the tickets. If tickets are allocated directly to an associate, an order will need to be completed by the associate in order to receive the tickets, but no management approval is required. *Please refer to your corporate ticket policies for exact specifications TicketOS Help Guide© Proprietary + Confidential Last modified February 12, 2009
