A person who is red-green color blind may not be able to read this slide.

Do not use red. Red-green color blindness is the most common form Use primary colors Do not use pastel shades Use contrasting colors Use large size font (This is 32-point)

Do not refer to items by their color Not “The red dot” but “The dot on the left” Do not use color to highlight a point Use underlining or italics
