PRACTICE SONGS AT HOME for WINTER PROGRAM We have 3 weeks in December: Gingerbread Week Tree Week Reindeer Week * Gingerbread PARTY We will be having a gingerbread party on December 21st. As in the past, parties have to be earned with behavior points. TREATS ARE WELCOME Your child can bring a small pillow for inclement weather movies at school. WATCH THOSE BOOK REPORTS Gingerbread Party Book reports are due at the end of every month *BOOKS REPORTS are THE ONLY WAY TO GET PIZZA HUT PIZZA REWARDS. TREATS WELCOME DECEMBER 21st We are in need of 2 liter soda bottles for pop bottle animals.

Gingerbread Party Room 11’s SCHEDULE MONDAY Computers 9:40-10:10 TUESDAY WEDNESDAY Music THURSDAY Library Every other week 9:40-1:20 FRIDAY gym8:30-9:30 gym TREATS WELCOME DECEMBER 21st The following clothing items are needed for 20 to 25 minutes on the playground everyday WINTER COAT SNOW PANTS MITTENS OR GLOVES BOOTS HOOD ON JACKET OR HAT SCARF Many kids are coming in and not happy because they are wet and stay wet all afternoon. Please send the appropriate clothing. A change of pants would also be nice to keep in their book bags, if possible. Alert NEW School Policy .

Our classroom is in need of snack donations:
This year Room 7 has 17 students We have snacks twice a day, around 10:30 a.m. and 1:30.p.m. Our classroom is in need of snack donations: crackers popcorn chips (any kind) Gogurt/yogurt cheese balls applesauce cakes hostess items cookies donuts pretzels Doritos goldfish crackers fruit snacks nacho chips gingerbread cookies graham crackers juice anything else you can think of We can stockpile anything you send for later use. We can also use anything you’d like to send Our theme this month Is reindeer, gingerbread, and trees. Snacks Needed

December Room 7 Holiday Happenings THE PARKVIEW WINTER PROGRAM IS THE 9TH OF DECEMBER WEAR BLACK BOTTOMS , and A SOLID RED OR GREEN TOP October and November Book Reports are Due. December is due January 5th *PRACTICE SONGS AT HOME December is always a busy month in Room 7. We have so much learning and fun things to do. We do: Poinsettia Day Learn about Hanukkah Gingerbread Week Tree Week Reindeer Week Gingerbread Party Is December 21st. Winter Break Homework is coming home on the 15th. Please look for the packet. They are due January 5th WATCH THOSE BOOK REPORTS Book reports are due at the end of every month *BOOKS REPORTS are THE ONLY WAY TO GET PIZZA HUT PIZZA REWARDS Check Supplies Please periodically check your child’s supplies. A Note from Ms. Weiner......at Parkview School
We will be making simple crafts, in school which the children can give as a present to any person they choose for whatever reason they choose for the holidays that you celebrate. This enables all the children to participate regardless of religious preference. They are all integrated with the units we are doing on trees, gingerbread, and reindeer. We will be making 3 crafts possible more. If you could send $3.00 as a donation to help offset the costs it would be appreciated. The school does not have a funded budget for crafts or art. Thank you Ms. Weiner.

Favorite Family Recipe
Please send a favorite family recipe. We are putting together a 2nd grade cookbook of favorite family recipes and recipes the children have tried in class. Please send us your favorite recipe or 2 for our classroom cookbook. Thank You Room 10/110
