9. Class Management- DOJO
We will use DOJO this year and you can sign on at home and register under my class to edit your class monster- we use DOJO daily for attendance and behavior

10. IXL
IXL is a math website that we will be using for extensions and homework this year. It is very important not to lose this sheet.
It is common core aligned with fifth grade and the standards we will be working on.

Really important to cut back on tardiness! I take attendance first thing and then off to special!

Homework is given Wednesday and will be collected the following Wednesday

Homework will be posted on my personal website each week- please check my website if you are unsure.
What if you don’t turn in HW?
If you miss your homework you will be responsible to make it up. – Usually during Fun Friday!
Recess/ Lunches
IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY
If you know you will be busy- it is alright to get ahead in reading but I don’t want you to be a week ahead that’s not the point

14. Technology Policies
Phones will be kept in backpack or put in bin to be held in classroom- if you are not following the rules your phone will be returned directly to family at the end of the day. NO EXCUSES
Phone should be off OR on silent
No phones at inside/outside recess
Classroom iPads follow the same rules as Computer Acceptable Use Form
If you misuse technology you will not use technology

15. Recess Buddies
5th grand students can apply to work with the students with autism in Ms. Wales class
Discuss person first language.
I will put the application on my website or pass out in person. I’ll keep you posted.
Ms. Wales will also come to the class to talk about the program!
