ROCKS
2
The Rock Cycle: through rain, freezing temperatures, wind, heat and pressure rocks change from one type to another.
3
A Process? Process? Weathering & erosion. A. Melting Process?
A. Compaction A A. Sedimentary Rock
6
Three Types of Rocks: 1. Sedimentary, due to wind, rain, gravity and erosion. 2. Metamorphic, due to heat and pressure. 3. Igneous, due to melting, cooling and pressure.

THE ROCK CYCLE
8
Sedimentary Rocks Form when sediments or lose materials such as sand and clay have been moved by wind, rain, ice or gravity.
9
Examples of Sedimentary Rocks:
1. Sand stone 2. Flag stone 3. Slate 4. Gypsum

Silicates are made of oxygen, O, and silicone, Si, and make up over 70% of the Earth’s Crust.
