8. Definitions Two-Dimensional: shapes on a plane (flat surface)
Properties: unique descriptions that help us identify and classify shapes
Quadrilateral: a 4-sided polygon with at least one set of parallel sides
Angles: the measure of the amount of turn between two straight lines that share a vertex
Sides: the straight lines that intersect to make a vertex

Polygons are closed figures made up of line segments. Regular polygons are closed figures made of side with equal length and angles of equal measure.
