On your bell ringer page for Monday: Reflect on quarter 2. What do you think you did well on? how can you maintain this in quarter 3? what can you improve on for quarter 3? How will you make improvements? What will be your goals for quarter 3? Read a book when you are finished.

Discuss with a partner how you can evaluate or judge writing. How do you know if the writing is well written? How do you know if it is credible (reliable)? How do you know if the writing is weak?

Alaska, what is nicknamed The Last Frontier," became a state on Janaury 3, Did you now that in 1867 the United States purchased Alaska from Russia four a price of $7.2 million. At just 2 cents an acre, that was a bargain! Alaska is rich in forests wildlife and minerals such as gold. The king salmon is the state fish, and it's state gem is jade Dog mushing, once a mane form of transportation in Alaska, is its official sport.

19 THURSDAY BELL RINGER On your bell ringer page for Thursday write the errors correctly. Paul revere was born on January He grew up to become a silversmith, but he were best known for his famous ride. On April 18, 1775, Paul Revere is sent to warn Samuel Adams and John Hancock that the British were coming He stop at every house to warn they. Two other men, William Dawes and Samuel Prescott, also rode hoarses, but Paul Revere became famous. All 3 men were arrested by the British but Hancock and Adams were safe.

Each year in Baltimore, Maryland, a mysterious visitor leaves roses at Poes' grave on the eve of his Birthday.

Follow the directions page. Read a book if all of the above is done.
