In the town of Vladimir in Russia there lived wealthy young merchant named Ivan Aksenoff.
At that time he was still happy. But after… his life changed.

“Ivan, please do not go to the fair today
“Ivan, please do not go to the fair today. I dreamed that something bad happened to you there.” His wife had already known what will happen that if he goes to the fair.

Aksenoff met a merchant.
Then they had some tea together, and each man went to bed in separate rooms. He woke up before down. A police officer and two soldiers rushed out of the carriage. Then the officer said, “ I am the Chief of Police in this direct, and I am questioning you because the merchant with whom you had tea last nigh has been murdered. One of the new convicts was a tall, strong, and vigorous man who was about sixty years old. This was the man who had killed the merchant. Aksenoff went to jail instead of the man and after he will realize who killed the merchant.

Maker Semevitch leaned close to Aksenoff and whispered, “ Ivan Aksenoff, forgive me!” Aksenoff said “ I have suffered for you these twenty- six years. Of course he was angry for Semevitch. After that his thinking will change.

Forgive me!”Please forgive me!” And he began to sob.
Semevitch understood what he did and apologized.

When Aksenoff heard him sobbing, he too began to weep.
It showed Aksenoff’s personality was really good.

The next day, Makar Semevitch confessed to the crime
The next day, Makar Semevitch confessed to the crime. But when the order came to release the innocent man, Ivan Aksenoff was already dead. It showed when Semevitch confessed to the crime, it was late. If Aksenoff listened his wife, he did not suffer and he might have had good life.
