Demonstration now planned for 9th December 3 weeks later than originally planned Delivery into SEF test for Phase 1 now set for 14th December Phase 1 confirmed as Special Note and existing fields only Details available at demonstration Confirmed June 2012 as Phase 2 delivery Possible earlier dates for pilot sites to be confirmed

SEF test for Phase 1 held on 21 and 22 November Lessons Learned for future tests Split into 3 phases for delivery Phase 1 November (Messaging) Phase 2 January (User Interface) Phase 3 March (ePCS and Revised Schema) Follow up demonstration planned for 12 January

5 Progress to Date Central ECS Store (Atos):
KIS released into live on 1st November All test patients implemented into Test Environment Final schema released on 28th October for GP Suppliers Includes all changes approved at last board Further changes with CPMG for approval as part of ECS release planned for March 2012 Adastra Now expecting to complete development in January Test instance for SEF agreed for January

6 Progress to Date NHS24 Proposal with CPMG for approval for KIS support
SAS Expected to benefit from NHS24 proposal in short term A+E (TrakCare) Contact made and agreement reached on proceeding with development Workshop expected in new year

7 Progress to Date Presentation to eHealth Programme Board on 22 November Good feedback received Presentation to Forth Valley GP Pilot Group More detail on this from David Arundel FAQ’s drafted SEF Testing process underway

8 SEF Testing Testing with EMIS not fully carried out
Issues with completing xml message Lesson Learned on attendees and witnessing Future focus on detailed test scripts Users must have experience of testing and system SEF Test Team continuing to develop detailed test scripts with suppliers Workshop planned to discuss full scope of SEF Currently focused on GP IT systems

February remains critical month for pilot start Access to training environments to be confirmed Focus on pilot board areas National rollout EMIS from May 2012 Vision from August 2012 Communication and clinical guidance key activities in short term Follow up engagement with User Groups and key stakeholders

Management of expectations / communication Quality of GP IT software Key Issue: Changes to general xml schema (also known as ISD schema) that is used across multiple systems
