The Raising Children website provides an easy-to-use set of government information about services and programs for Alberta parents, families and caregivers for newborns up to age six.

3. Raising Children Landing Page
The site features easy to find information divided into age and topic categories such as Toddlers (1 to 3 years), Children with Special Needs, and Parents & Caregivers
There is an A to Z index at the top of the page to locate information using common terms such as ‘child care’ , ‘subsidies’ or ‘crying’.
Photographs and simple language help the user navigate through the system.
Other features include a Services Near You tab located at the top and bottom of each page which provides a searchable map of government programs and services by selecting a specific city or town or by using your postal code.

4. Parents & Caregivers
This section for Parents & Caregivers has information and links available for working and stay-at-home parents, supports for foster and kin caregivers, or programs available for those raising aboriginal children. Under All Parents & Caregivers, there are helpful resources for literacy and language.
