3 Introduction There is nothing more practical than sound thinking. No matter what your goals. Good thinking pays off. Poor thinking cause problems, wastes time and energy.

4 General Goal of Thinking
The general goal of thinking is to “figure out the lay of the land“. In fact: We all have multiple choices to make. We need the best information to make the best choices.

5 The Way of Our Thinking What is really going on in this or that situation? Are they trying to take advantage of me? If I want to do ….. , what is the best way to prepare for it?

6 Effective Thinking Excellence of thought and skill in thinking are real possibilities. you must learn how to become an effective “critic” of your thinking. learning about thinking apriority.

7 As yourself these rather unusual questions what have you learned about how you think? Did you ever study your thinking? Questions

about my thinking or about thinking in general. series study of thinking, series thinking about thinking. focusing your attention for a moment on the role that thinking is playing in your life.

9 You will be surprise that humans show so little interest in thinking
You will be surprise that humans show so little interest in thinking. Here are something you will eventually discover: that all of us have, somewhere along the way, picked up bad hobbits of thinking.

10 As you discover these problems, you hope you
will begin to ask yourself some key questions: “ it’s possible for me to learn to avoid bad habits of thought? These are problems and questions that few discover .You can gain power, very important power, you presently lack.

12 Good thinking is as easy as bad thinking ( but it requires hard work to develop it)

13 Fact It’s important to realize that thinking itself is not difficult. Human naturally think without having to exert much energy to engage in any real intellectual work.

This means you must be willing to practice special “ acts” of thinking that are initially at least uncomfortable and sometimes challenging and difficult.

17 Example We could watch a film of the skill in action. But imagine a film of a person setting on a chair THINKIG.It would look like the person was doing nothing.

18 Critical Thinking It’s provide the tools of mind you need to think well through any things that requires thought at work. Good thinking enables you to minimize the other.

19 The hard cruel world What help can you expect from the world about you in becoming a critical thinker? Most people have multiple problem in their own thinking: prejudices, biases, misconceptions, ideological rigidity. Few can help us directly and effectively to improve ours.

20 Become a Critic of Your Own Thinking
begin the proses of becoming A “critic“ of your thinking. You do this not to negate or “dump on” yourself. you must “discover” you thinking, see its structure, observe its implications, and recognize its basis and vantage point.

It’s practical. enables you to be more successful, to save time and energy.
