The Codex Alimentarius Commission is an independent body for
the development of food standards and, as such, does not provide
technical assistance for participation in the work of Codex or for
implementing its outputs at national level.
This assistance is available through the parent organizations,
FAO and WHO.

Topics under discussion may result in capacity-building initiatives, e.g. risk analysis manual, workshops on HACCP.
