2 Introduction Malpractice refers to negligence or misconduct by a professional person who failure to meet standard of care or standard of conduct that is recognized by a profession, reach the level of malpractice when a client or patient is injured or damaged because of error.

3 Error...A commission or an omission with potentially negative consequences for the patient that would have been judged wrong by skilled and knowledgeable peers at the time it occurred, independent of whether there were any negative consequences”. Wu et al.

4 General objective: To understand the scope of malpractice and medical errors.

5 Specific objective: 1-To identify the causes of malpractice
and medical errors. 2- To determine the types of malpractice. 3-To explore the responsible of malpractice. 4-To discus preventive strategies.

8 Design .Descriptive analytical design Study site
This study will be conduct at three Governmental hospitals in Gaza Stripe.(Elhelal Elmaratiy –Eltahrer- Naser ) hospitals. Population: All health care providers in Altahreer and ALhelal Alemaratiy hospitals in ministry of health.

9 Sample and sampling: 150 participants agree to conduct the questionnaire after they were fully informed about the nature of the study and their right to refused .chosen by non probability convenience sampling

10 Instrument: self administered close ended questionnaire that consist of-77-questions divided into five categories ( demographic data- causes- types- responsibility – prevention strategies) of malpractice and medical errors. the questionnaire was rated on five point likert scales ranging from severely agree to severely disagree.

11 Data Collection Procedure:
The questionnaires should be distribute and collect by the researcher themselves with assistance of key persons from the target nursing hospitals.

12 Ethical consideration:
The study should be take into consideration the relevant principles when conduct the research, these principles include; principle of beneficence, respect for human dignity, principle of justice, anonymity, confidentiality and informed consent. These principles should be discuss with participants before the study conducted.
