‘My child is only 11. The learning that really matters happens at secondary school.’ ‘The tests are just a measure of the school’s performance.’ ‘The tests don’t really matter. They are tested again as soon as they get to secondary school.’

5 Purpose Hold schools accountable for the attainment and progress made by their pupils Inform parents and secondary schools about the performance of individual pupils Used to determine estimated Attainment 8 Score and therefore Progress 8.

6 Scaled Scores Consistent year on year
100+ Working at Expected Standard (EXS) 110+ Working at Greater Depth (GDS) Each pupil will receive: raw score scaled score confirmation of whether or not met national standard Reported to Secondary School

7 The Tests Monday 14th May – Thursday 16th May 2018
