At Cobb 6th Grade Campus, we are committed to providing the best education possible for each of our students. We believe that this can happen only when we work together as a caring community of parents and educational staff. This compact was designed by a representative body of parents, students, and staff to help all of us achieve this goal.

*Keep an open mind when trying to resolve teacher-student conflicts.
*Spend time with my child every day - reading, writing, listening or just talking.
*Make sure my child attends school every day, on time and prepared to learn.
*Help my child resolve conflicts in a positive way.
*Keep the lines of communication open between home and school.
*Provide a quiet place at a specific time for my child to do homework.
*Become an active partner in my child's learning by attending school functions, parent-teacher conferences, and as my schedule allows, activities during the school day.
*Show support for my child and the school staff and respect individual differences.
*Provide quality texts, supplies, and materials that support instruction.
*Manage the school and classroom to provide an environment that is safe, encourages learning and helps students achieve state performance standards.
