4. Recall last class: Problem Analysis Procedure
Read the liaison’s proposal, website, or review first interview notes.
Analyze the author’s framing of the problem and brainstorm other possible issues
Collect the issues as a set of client “needs”…make a list of these
Write research questions that will allow you to gather info, flesh out the list of needs, and begin the design process
For each question determine what source or sources of info you’ll need to consult to answer the question

Plug the questions into the RDC format we looked at today
Use the last two columns of the RDC to make a GANTT chart
For your proposals due at the end of class, be prepared to show your RDC and GANTT charts. These charts show us what want to know:
what you have accomplished,
what work remains, and
when it will be completed.
