Collect and preserve materials relating to turfgrass science, culture, and the management of turfgrass-based facilities, such as golf courses, parks, sports fields, residential lawns, sod farms, roadsides, institutional grounds, and other managed landscapes.

4. O. J. Noer Memorial Turfgrass Collection
First established in 1968.
Continues to be built from donations and purchases of historic publications by the O.J. Noer Research Foundation.
Provides the foundation upon which TGIF is built.

Guarantee ongoing efforts to build the collections and databases.
Enhancements will include additional electronic access to full text, open access to the databases, and a wider scope of material coverage indexed.
The USGA Turfgrass Research Program has led the way in supporting the Campaign.
