2 MPERC Bench Mark Tariff
The present MPERC Bench Mark Tariff is given below: For Solar PV Projects Solar Plant Benchmark Tariff for Bidding Solar PV Power Generation Plants Tariff of INR15.35 per unit at normal rate of depreciation Tariff of INR per unit if accelerated rate of depreciation is considered

4 Procurement of 200MW Power from Solar Power Projects
To meet the RPO targets set by MPERC and as per the energy requirement of Madhya Pradesh, MP Power Management Co Ltd has initiated procurement of Solar power through competitive bidding . The bidders were free to establish their Solar Thermal/PV projects anywhere in the Country.

5 Capacity of Solar Power Projects
The capacity of each Solar Power Projects shall be minimum 5 MW. Any Bidder can apply for minimum 5 MW. There is no upper ceiling limit of capacity. However in case bidder supply solar power from the plants located outside the state, minimum offered capacity shall be 10MW.

6 Competitive Bidding Process
Total 12 bidders have shown their interests in establishing Solar PV Power Projects in MP. Total for 430 MW offers were received against 200 MW. The qualified Bidders were required to submit RfP indicating the discount offered per kWh on the present MPERC Bench Mark Tariff. All the 12 bidders were qualified at RfS stage and they were offered RFP for giving discount on MPERC bench mark Tariff.

7 RFP Stage Out of 12, only 9 bidders have submitted their RFP bid.
The lowest tariff offered after discounting was 7.90/kWh The highest tariff offered after discounting was by five bidders. GoMP has decided to offer MW Solar Power each to MoU signed Companies.

8 Power Purchase Agreement
PPAs have been signed during October, 2012 with these Companies for procurement of 200 MW solar Power in Madhya Pradesh. Alfa Infraprop Pvt. Ltd. 20 MW M/s Welspun Solar Madhya Pradesh Pvt. Ltd 105 MW M/s ACME Energy Solutions Pvt. Ltd. 25 MW M/s Precious Energy Services Pvt. Ltd. Total 200 MW

9 Commissioning of Solar Plant
The commissioning of Solar PV plant of capacity upto 25MW, shall be within 13 months from the date of signing of PPA. For capacity beyond 25MW, commissioning period shall be as under. Sl. 10 Availability of Solar Power
The Solar Power likely to be available from 13 months to 24 months from the date of signing PPA. It means, solar power would be available from December 2013 to November 2014.
