AdBooker Training Basic Searches
Start with the simple things. The Who (Customer Information), The What (Order Information), The When and Where (Run Schedule Information). In Dallas our searchable fields are Blue. Make sure users understand they can enter search criteria in one or more of the blue fields. Utilize the wildcard when all of the information in one field is unknown. (i.e. you know the first four letters of the last name) Utilize shortcuts. Some users are keyboard users, some are mouse users and some are screen users (pull down file menu.)

AdBooker Training Advanced Searches
This allows you to search more in depth utilizing additional tabs and fields. Make sure the end users know about the Advanced Search tab. They can search their orders, user info orders (taken or sold by), extended options (teams or company) or parallel approval.

AdBooker Training Scheduling Orders Again utilizing:
Who? – the advertiser scheduling the order. What? – the type of order the advertiser wishes to schedule. Where? – where in the publication is the ad going to run? When? – the days and number of insertions the advertiser would like the ad to run. Required Information: The end user needs to know what is required. Example: in Dallas we require an Ordered By. If they don’t know this the order will not save and they can get frustrated. The What includes ad type, color and size. The Where includes publication, placement and position. The When includes the publication dates.

Hold courses when there is an upgrade COMMUNICATION! Update Training Documentation and store somewhere it is easily accessible Have super users and/or trainers for each segments of your business. Hold monthly meetings with those super users and/or trainers.
