A trait of a future entrepreneur is that he or she is creative. Students have started a visual arts entry for reflections. Students have only started but the projects are showing wonderful creativity! Let’s submit an entry for each category in reflections, you guys are wonderfully creative!

This week our class will be focusing on how starting a business can help other people. We will also talk about why people start a business.
Here are some activities that you can do with your child to help reinforce the skills we’ll be working on in class this week.
Word Workout
Words to Know: suffixes In this activity, you will help your child use the words to describe someone who has helped others.
Spelling/Phonics: long o Play a word game with your child. You will take turns matching word cards with the same spelling for the long o vowel sound.
Comprehension: main idea and key details
After reading three short stories about kids who started their own businesses, your child will write the main idea and one detail about each situation.
