ADRIENNE The training tracks remain and are required for the Magis and Ignatius levels. The Magis level must complete 1 training in each category (5 total). Ignatius level must complete 2 in each category (10 total). You still must complete a post-event form for these events.

Ignatius must complete 9 of 12
“ELECTIVE” Credits 12 Elective topics will be offered throughout the year Each topic will have session offerings throughout the year The schedule of the Elective credits will be posted at the beginning of each semester Elective topics include: Self-Care, Ethical Leadership, Goal Setting, Inclusion, Financial Resources, Organizational Effectiveness, Team Building, and more! “ORGANIZATION-DIRECTED”
Credits PURPOSE: to allow student organization to choose a topic on which they believe their organization needs/wants additional information, knowledge, training, etc. One Organization-Directed Curriculum event is worth 3-credits Only for Ignatius level organizations At least 50% of your organization’s members must be present How do I plan this Curriculum event for my organization? 1. Brainstorm potential topics 2. Complete the “Organization-Directed Curriculum Proposal” form on MyBC 3. Attend meeting with OSI Staff Member 4. HOW DO I GET CREDIT? 1. Complete the Excel Credit Request (ECR) Form on MyBC. This form only needs to be completed once in the year, by EACH INDIVIDUAL, but is a requirement to earn credit for your organization. 2. RSVP for the event on MyBC and Making sure to Swipe in at the Event: RSVP’ing for a session is strongly encouraged (and sometimes mandatory), because each session has a maximum capacity. You may be asked to leave the session if you have not reserved your spot and the room is already at capacity. Additionally, you will not have access to the required Post-Event form if you do not swipe in. 3. Complete the Post-Event Form. You will only have access to the post-event form once the session is complete and you have swiped into the event. All 3 steps must be completed in order to earn credit for your organization. ORGANIZATION EXPECTATIONS
Be in good standing with the Office of Student Involvement and Boston College Meet the standard of conduct as set forth by the Student Guide Have a Faculty/Staff Advisor (Sign Advisor Agreement) and bring to OSI (Carney 147) by Friday, Sept 29. Create and maintain a MyBC account (bc.edu/mybc) Review Constitution and update as needed; Post under “Files” on MyBC Complete all Curriculum events and forms for your Level by May 3, 2018 Have at least ten undergraduate members Complete the memorandum of understanding on hazing Be consistent with the Jesuit, Catholic mission of Boston College KARL Have students complete the Hazing form now.
