In Russia there are pre-school education and school education
In Russia there are pre-school education and school education. Pre-school education is optional, but school education is compulsory. There are two types of schools – state schools and private schools. State schools provide free education. Parents have to pay for their children's education if they want them to attend a private school. At the end of 9 year and 11 year course pupils take exams.

As for me I study in the 9th form
As for me I study in the 9th form. I go to a secondary school which is rather big. I go to a state school. About 460 girls and boys of different age study there. It is one of the best schools in my district. There are so many cultural and educational opportunities for us. In my school there are also a lot of facilities for sport. The sport club, laboratory, library are open every day. More over we study different subjects here. Sometimes we have tests and examinations at school. But I do not worry. Our teachers help us preparing for different tests and exams.

I really like my school, because the atmosphere is friendly here and we have a lot of opportunities to express our talents. But, of course, there are few things that I don`t like about my school . I don`t like the system of exams and wearing the uniform. It`s awful!!!

To my mind, our school helps us to succeed in life.
Our teachers encourage us to work our best and that's why here we get excellent preparation for college or university. And we are not afraid of exams.
