Introduction Field Day : June 24 – 25 (Always the fourth full weekend in June Field Day Location: Caledon State Park …..pavilion & field in front of pavilion Contesting Time: Start no earlier than 2 PM Saturday…End 24 hours later Proposed Set Up Time: 1 PM to 6 PM Friday June 23 (5 hrs) retiree antenna raising party please do not feel obligated to take time off work to participate; the club ‘s retirees want to use some of their free time to make Saturday a little less frantic! 8 AM to 1 PM Saturday (5 hrs)

Thursday, June 22 7 PM Radio Club meeting, American Legion Bldg Friday, June 23 1 PM Set up campers & tents; antenna setup start W1AW Message Copy Saturday, June 24 8 AM Continue setup PM Lunch 1 – 1:30PM Training 2 PM Contest start 6:30 PM Pot Luck Dinner Sunday, June 25 7 to 9 AM Breakfast 12 to 1PM Lunch 2 PM Contest Ends; turn in contest materials to Sam 2 PM+ Teardown, cleanup

Proposed Meal Schedule
Friday No meals or drinks provided on Friday; bring your own Saturday Morning - bring your own drinks & snacks Lunch (12 to 1) – Fix your own: Sandwich fixings and drinks will be provided Dinner- (630 PM) Pot Luck dinner Snacks – some on sign-up sheet; bring your own favorites and share! Sunday Breakfast (7 to 9) – cooked to order Lunch (12 to 1) –dinner leftovers

Similar rules as last year; some questions on campers and playground access for antennas Antenna Construction and Installation (Bands allowed: 160, 80, 40, 20, 15, 10, 6, 2, 222MHz, 420MHz, 902MHz, 1240MHz) No antenna plan in place now… Some long Coax runs Potato guns / Bow / fishing poles Operating Station Setup FD Information notebooks and log sheets will be provided (Sam) How many stations? 4? 5? Battery & Solar power No Computer Logging Messaging connection Social Media connection Club Road signs & setups

4 Corners of Pavilion used for radio ops Need Radio Tables/Chairs/Lights/Fans Radio Ops battery power at 4 locations Who is bringing batteries? Coax Stubs Pavilion Commercial power for lighting & cooking Contingency plastic to cover windows and doors for bad weather Trash cans provided by park Visitors and Demos Power Point Radio Orientation Presentation – Sam to provide Electronic copies in power point No projector-use your computer or hardcopy Special Demo Needs?
