1. Plastic recycling at Blackstone

2. What's happening?
The Project Earth CIP class has decided to start recycling plastic bottles and cans!
If we are able to recycle correctly this is something we can do at Blackstone forever!

3. Why are we doing this?
There have been many requests for Blackstone to start recycling plastic bottles and cans.
We want to increase our recycling and become a more eco-friendly school.

4. What are we recycling? We will be recycling the following items:
Plastic bottles
Jars
Glass bottles
Aluminum cans
Tin cans
Iced coffee cups

5. How do we recycle our bottles & cans?
Before recycling your plastic bottles and cans into the bin, please makes sure that you have emptied and rinsed them off first.
Otherwise the recyclables will become dirty and attract flies, which is nasty!

6. Where do we recycle our bottles & cans?
The recycling bin will be next to the students’ bathroom.
So it will be easy for you to empty and rinse out the bottles and cans!

7. Milk Carton Reminder
Friendly reminder that Blackstone does not recycle milk cartons.
So please do not throw the cartons in any of the recycling bins.
It’s really nasty to clean up!
