select track
Advanced/Select mp3 version
drag track to destination
drag track(s) to destination
change Import Settings back to AAC

8. Using Playlists to Organize Music
Playlist - a “cassette mix” or self-made “album”
Playlists organize music according to uses
Playlist for each grade level
Playlist for after school groups
Playlist for particular activity: “folk dance,” “steady beat”
create playlist File/New Playlist
select tracks and drag to playlist

9. Syncing an iPod or iPhone
iPod syncs to only one iTunes library at a time!
iTunes will ask if you want to sync to new library
sync everything automatically
sync manually only the content you want
sync selected playlists, artists, albums, genres, etc.
sync (or not) podcasts, TV shows, movies, ebooks, apps, and photos
Best Practice: always eject for unplugging
