MICROSENS WDM MSP - Platform
Both chassis can be connected in many ways and use one common network management system (nmp). The same transponders and filters are used in both platform types. Each platform type can be used for CWDM & DWDM up to 10 Gbit/s per channel.

19“ Chassis MSP 1100 1 RU high, 19“ wide 2 slots for active cards Redundant fans Redundant Power Supply input 48V DC, external supplies for 230V AC Managed with MICROSENS nmp

Each Chassis MUST have a NMS Module
MSP 1100, MSP 1400 Each Chassis MUST have a NMS Module A Chassis can have 1 PS (no redundancy) or 2 PS (fully redundant) Free airflow must be guaranteed: MSP 1100: from left to right MSP 1400: from front to back Passive modules (filters, etc.) can also be built in separate passive Chassis (1RU, 3 slots).

TXG / CXG CXG: Single channel converter for 8G/10G, no 3R
TXG: Single channel converter for 10 Gbps with 3R Both interfaces use XFP 3R on both ports with TXG All standard 10G speeds per can be selected by SW parameter: Ethernet, SDH/SONET, Fibre Channel (TXG) Supports tunable DWDM-XFP
12
NEW: CXG+ 4 SFP+ interfaces „Any“ speed up to 16 Gbps
Transparent mode, no 3R Dual converter Point-to-Point, Ring, Star und meshed configurations Distances depending on type of SFP/SFP+ and application protocol/speed For best performance use SFP+ with integrated CDR
