4. So why Dimensions?
Creative – teachers can adapt the learning to meet the needs of the class and the children’s own interests in the topic
Flexible – gives suggestions for activities but can be child led
Innovative – introduces new topics and ideas that give children a very broad curriculum
Good balance of skills and knowledge – children acquire new knowledge every lesson and also have practical opportunities to develop skills

5. How does Dimensions work at Pixies?
Two year rolling programme – KS1, LKS2, UKS2
Each theme has a main focus
Collaborative working between teachers
Flexibility to change themes to relevant local and historic events.

9. Pupil Voice What do our children think?
We love our new topic UG! We are learning about the Bronze Age and today we built round houses as that’s what they used to live in.

Abracadabra is great – we learnt a lot about mixing solutions and making potions. I want to do it again.
I’m excited to find out my new topic after Easter
The new topics are great and I have learnt many new things.
