2. Develop Study Habits Do you know how to study or do you wing it?
This may work for high school, but it is helpful to learn good study habits now so that you are prepared for college.
Your grades really do matter – college is just around the corner.
The higher your GPA, the more money you get in scholarships!

3. Be Involved
Become a part of community service activities and clubs – they can get you money for college!
Think about doing a summer internship in your field of study – this gives you great experience and you form connections with people you might work with in the future.

4. Take the ACT Seriously!
This is the most important test you will take for college!
The higher your score, the more money you will get for college – so study and do your best.
You can retake this as many times as you need to, but they are not all free so take advantage of the free one you take in the spring!

5. Take College Tours
Touring a college campus is the best way to find out which school is really for you.
When on a tour you have the opportunity to talk with students and admissions counselors and ask them questions.
Talk with your school counselors about how to schedule a tour and what to ask while on one.
The most important thing about college tours is that they are FUN!
