1
Global Warming Is the Climate really Changing?
Yes, Earth has been getting warmer….and FAST!
2
What Effect Does CO2 Have?
Overall, the global average temperature is rising. Raising the global average temperature can have dramatic effects on the Earth’s delicate system.
3
Global Climate is the average climate over the entire planet
4
What Causes Global Warming?
Global warming is caused by heat trapped in the Earth’s atmosphere.
5
Greenhouse gases block the heat from getting out.
The Earth re-releases the heat back to outer space Energy from the Sun (UV Radiation) is absorbed by the Earth. While there are several external influences of weather and climate variability, the primary source that drives the planet’s weather and climate is the SUN. The sun’s generous supply of heat and light energizes the Earth’s atmosphere and surface.
