Clever/iReady - Remember that your scholar can get on iReady Reading and Math at home, just ask them what they need to login.
ClassDojo - Don't forget to sign up for our ClassDojo in order to keep up with what is happening in class. Please let me know if you need a code!!!
Science - We will be focusing on the Solar System for most of November. Scholars will be learning about the different parts of the Solar System, along with how the parts work together. They will have a research project that they will be working on during class.
Social Studies- We will be learning about Thanksgivings and its origins. Scholars will also be learning about the difference between the First Thanksgiving and how we celebrate it today.
Reading - We will be learning about nonfiction throughout the month of November. Scholars will be learning about how to ask and answer questions as they read, main idea, text features, and many other things.
Math - We will be learning about how multiplication relates to division, and how to use one to solve problems for the other. Scholars will also learning about mass, volume, telling time, and elapsed time.
November 9th – Veterans Day Parade
November 10th – Holiday in observance of Veterans Day
November 14th – First Science Olympiad Meeting
November 15th – Field Trip to the Morehead Planetarium
November 22nd – Early Release Day
November 23rd - Thanksgiving
