AUTOMOTIVE: For the automotive market, the Transport & Mobility Technology Club wants to bring together automotive Tier-1 and Tier-2 suppliers that provide unique value towards one or more of the following three challenges faced by the automotive industry: Sustainable / electric mobility: The race for E-mobility leadership has started. OEM's need to establish partnerships within a new value chain. New players are entering the market with electric vehicles. Meanwhile China is developing as a lead market for new energy vehicles. User Experience: The user wants his time in a vehicle to be meaningful, comfortable and enjoyable. Furthermore there is an increasing need for individualisation of own vehicles vs increasing success of sharing vehicles. OEM's need to monetize the time that users spend in their car. Agility in development and production: The automotive industry is changing rapidly with new regulations, innovations and new players that are entering the market. Automotive OEM's need to be agile and show high adaptive capabilities. Increasing speed of innovation. PUBLIC TRANSPORT: For the public transport market, the Transport & Mobility Technology Club wants to bring together Tier-1 suppliers that provide unique value towards the manufacturers of buses and railway rolling stock.
