Money should go towards maintaining and upgrading air wing

3. Different Roles of planes in the Air Force
Close Air Support CAS
Current Gen is the A-10
Next Gen is the F-35
Air Superiority
Current Gen is the F-15
Next Gen is the F-22

4. Continued Service of Planes
Many wish to Replace battle tested planes
F-35 and F-22 are prohibitively expensive
No current need for them
Unable to replace entire air fleet with current budget

5. Work in conjunction Current gen will eventually need replacing
Phasing out current planes
F-22 and 35 do their intended task extremely well
Will be uncontested against other nation states as the only 5th generation fighter
