Personal Finance Learning Target: In order to understand how to fund my higher education, I will learn the fundamentals of financial aid. I will know I have it when I understand: (1) why higher education has a high potential return on investment; (2) the typical action steps that I should take on the path to higher education; (3) potential sources of higher education financing; (4) the advantages of federal student loans; (5) the difference between subsidized & unsubsidized federal student loans; and (6) the purpose and process of filing the FAFSA form. --Continue Personal Finance: Everfi ( -conclude Credit Scores (Module #4) if needed -complete Financing Higher Education module (Module #5) -when done with Financing Higher Education post-assessment: AP ONLY: when finished with modules, look over Building Wealth (HO from earlier), then: (1) complete Sandra’s Balance Sheet; (2) complete the first three Real Life Balance Sheets; (3) and complete the questions on charitable contributions and bankruptcy (use class set HO on front bookshelf) -continue Avatar game -play the Texas Reality Check game ( REPORT TO C11 COMPUTER LAB UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE Personal Finance Test: Friday, December 15th
