2. First I opened the image in photoshop
Then I adjusted the images aesthetics by altering the exposure, contrast and brightness, added a ‘film grain’ filter and de-saturated the image.

3. I then opened the pattern I had previously made onto the same page and changed it’s properties from ‘normal’ to ‘lighten’

I then decreased the opacity to make the pattern more subtle

4. I then altered the hue/saturation slightly until it looked how I intended, this only changes the coloured parts of the image so the black and white stayed the same.
I then flattened the image and opened it on a new A3 page leaving a boarder around the edge.
Using the type tool I then wrote out the title of our film and positioned it accordingly
I also, using a different font, wrote out the names of people in my group, in the same way a magazine cover would have then name of the actors and directors of the featured film on the cover.

5. Finally I added the ‘little white lies’ logo, positioning it centrally at the top as they do for all their cover designs. I kept the logo white as it was in to template because I thought it complemented the rest of the design.
