Know The Regulations SWPPP Submitted to IDEM and MS4

Know The Regulations 70 percent cover for areas not being worked on for 15 days. Inspections every week or within the first business day after a measurable storm event (.5 inches) Notice of Termination (NOT) NOT may only be submitted after a Perennial Stand of Vegetation having 70 percent or greater coverage has been established.

Follow The Regulations and Your SWPPP
Inspect your site at the correct time. During rainstorms or immediately after. Driest day in July won’t tell you much. Improve your BMPs, and Modify or Switch BMPs that don’t work Update your SWPPP Avoid offsite discharge of sediment

Manage Your Contractors
If something will effect your bottom line make it effect theirs Teach them about your SWPPP and how it effects them Let them know your expectations while they are on your site
