4 CIBR’s Vision Provide UMSOM Investigators with the broadest array of core services to support high-impact biomedical research Make research easy by simplifying access to cores Enable Research – even for clinical faculty Provide support for grant submissions

5 UMSOM Core Directors and Staff
The expertise of the core directors and staff provide is invaluable. They… Provide expert consultation Advance significant credibility to grant applications as a co-investigator Provide administrative strength to core components of Program Project and Center Grant applications or similar applications Support educational missions by mentoring students, staff and faculty Secure funding for shared instrumentation grants to enhance capabilities for cores

12 Thursday, November 30th from 9:30 am – 11:00 am
CIBRunch CIBRunch is designed to provide investigators with basic information on many of the core laboratories and their capabilities and services offered. Each core will host a round-table to answer questions specific questions and provide detailed information on their capabilities. You can visit as many core-hosted tables as desired. CIBRunch will be held in the MSTF Auditorium on Thursday, November 30th from 9:30 am – 11:00 am
