3. General All forms now have a ‘Report Information’ input screen.
Standard place to input common items.
TAB –TAB –TAB your way through the input screen.
Use ‘Rpt Form’ menu button to get back to the input screen.
Edit the fields in the input screen only from the input screen, not directly in the document.
Everything else can be edited directly in the document.
Documents are saved in default directory (except Desk/Field Review Certs).

4. General Regulatory References and Requirements
References have been reviewed and updated where appropriate.
Date, Address and Value have been moved/copied to area directly above signatures.

5. Where do I find the new templates?
At the office
Same as StopGap
Open Word
Click on File | New
Select desired template

6. Where do I find the new templates?
At home – first save to desktop
In the Intranet, go to VRC Documents
Click on the Template you want
Click ‘Cancel’ to any logon prompts
Click ‘Yes’ to any prompts about macros
Click File | Save as
Save to desktop as a template (.dot)
Double-click on template to start.

7. A word about Macros… Recommended Macro security setting is ‘Medium’.
Click - Tools | Macro | Security and select Medium.
User will be prompted to ‘Enable Macros’ or ‘Disable Macros’ – Select ‘Enable’.
If prompted for this in ANY OTHER situation and you do not know the source, select ‘Disable’ and get me immediately.
Macros can contain Viruses – Be Careful!

8. How do I know when they’re revised?
An will be sent to everyone.
Each Appraiser will be responsible for updating templates on home pc’s (again, available from VRC Docs on the intranet).
Revision month/year is on every template.

9. Comp Search Form
Now a template (like the StopGap) with an input screen.
Prompted to save file.
Manual form no longer printed from Randa or available on the intranet.
Can now EDI.

10. Desk/Field Review Cert. Form
Combined into 1 form.
Content changed based on type of Review.
Field Review requires input of reviewed appraiser(s) name(s), if provided.
Scope, Did/Did not inspect, etc.

11. StopGap Prompted to save file. Inserting picture more flexible.
Select Client from Dropdown list.
Room for 6 Comps.
PPSF Calculated.
