About me FUTURE! PRESENT! PAST!
I’ll hopefully have a good car, a house in Queensland and a good family. I’d like to have 2 kids and 1 would be a boy and the other a girl. My goal is to have a job as a top selling author or a teacher on a high wage. FUTURE! About me PRESENT! PAST! I was really proud of winning an award of $100 which was the Kate Milne award. I’m very proud of my ability in Sport, Maths, English and Indonesian. I enjoyed going on a holiday 5 or 6 years ago to Queensland to meet some old friends of my parents, which were really nice. I have a very caring family that I am really proud of for all of their achievements and I think of them as good role models.

Leader Click below to see and hear more At the moment I’m a leader (unless you are reading this from 2006 onwards) as a School Captain and I have been to a lot of different events which only the privileged School Captains can attend. What I enjoy about being a leader is having a bit of power but of course I do not abuse it at all. I think of leadership as having a bit of power over people and helping them through things and representing something. What I achieved as a leader is knowing that the little kids look up to me a lot and our school is one of the best in Victoria.

Learner LEARNER: A way I really enjoy learning is to do projects electronically on PowerPoint or Microsoft Word and decorate it a lot. An example of a project I did was on a plant which was a Venus Fly Trap and I animated it a lot and made it look really interesting. The way that I learn best is when teachers give examples and they have a good strong voice and they don’t drone on and on. I prefer to work by myself because I don’t like to be disturbed by work partners. Click to see my presentation

INVESTIGATOR Natural disasters
HEAD: First I had to think of what style (bushfire, blizzard, volcano etc…) and I came up with bushfire. I thought for a bit about what the scene would look like and decided on a house with some bushland beside it. HEART: I chose to investigate this because the Volcanoes weren’t original and I wanted something different so I chose the Bushfire. I enjoyed doing all the detail on it but the fence was a little difficult. I was proud of this as well because I was the only one to disguise my flammables. HANDS: In the 2 sheds were some twigs and firelighters and outside the shed (disguised as some bluestone) was sparkler dust which went off ferociously at the end.

Our tables idea for a project on Natural disasters teaching lesson was to do a Tsunami.
3. Our teamwork was really good because we worked together well and helped each other. DESIGNER 2. We decided to present our project on a PowerPoint. 4. We decided on 3 activities for our peers to do which were a quiz, a colour in sheet and a word search. 7. Some of the changes we made were on the slides and adding some slides. 8. Our table produced a really good project that everyone enjoyed a lot. We got a top mark for it. 5. Our team was very creative with the backgrounds on each slide of the PowerPoint using plain and Photo backgrounds. 6. My knowledge of Tsunami’s and Seismologists is far better now and the best thing I learnt was that the “Tsu” means Harbour and the “Nami means wave. Tsunami link

INVESTIGATOR ITALY! THINK CHOOSE ACT
All the kids in our class were paired with the person they were sitting next to. I was with Brittany. With our partner we had to decide what country to study and to help make our choices Mr. Pearce laid out some books on the floor. CHOOSE Brittany and I thought for a bit about what would be the best to learn about. We ended up deciding on Italy because it best suited us and we both liked the look of the place and found it most interesting. We worked for about five days on this project. ACT It was quite fun learning about it because of all the interesting places to go, like the leaning tower of Pisa or the Fontana di Trevi and after the project was finished we got a good mark which was an A-. Since doing this project I have rather liked Italy.
