3 Kindness Matters Because….
Kindness is a strength… being kind shows your strength Showing kindness means that we care Kindness creates more kindness Being kind to others helps us feel good about ourselves Acts of kindness create a positive community WHAT DOES KINDNESS LOOK LIKE?

5 Kindness is Everyday Gratitude…

6 What we knew about kindness…
We knew that we should be kind to each other. We knew that our school rules state that we need to practice kindness. What we know NOW about kindness… We know HOW to be kind to others. We know that being kind to others makes it easier for them to be kind to us. We know that being kind to others means that we are strong, whereas being mean to others shows weakness. We know that we need to INTENTIONALLY practice kindness! How will we INTENTIONALLY practice kindness?

7 Our Student Led SERVICE LEARNING TEAM will promote ongoing Kindness by recruiting student assistance in practicing Kindness throughout our Community! November – Food Drive for those in need December – Gift bags and cards for Foster Children January – Create Valentines Day cards and gift bags for the Senior Center February – Create Valentines Day cards and gift bags for the Foster Children March – Senior Center Visit April – Botanical Gardens Environmental Clean Up May – Beach Environmental Clean Up June – School Backpacks and Supplies for the Foster Children
