2 “IOT BASED SMART GREENHOUSE WITH LEAF DISEASE DETECTION”
R V College of Engineering Bengaluru Major Project “IOT BASED SMART GREENHOUSE WITH LEAF DISEASE DETECTION” By Manjunath Reddy.V 1RV16SSE09 Under the guidance of Dr.Shantharam Nayak Professor Dept. of ISE, RVCE.

3 INTRODUCTION In the present scenario were people are moving around the world, there is an increased Demand for connectivity with our properties wherever we are on the planet. Here comes the role Connecting every device to the internet so that it is accessible wherever we have an internet access . This interesting fact throws upon us the need to implement a solution integrating our present resources. This is where internet of things comes into the picture. This Project focuses on Implementing a smart greenhouse that can monitored using IOT technology, Also the detecting the leaf disease using image processing .

4 OBJECTIVES The aim of the project was to build a miniature model of greenhouse and maintain the stable environment inside greenhouse by automatic control and monitoring all physical parameters, also do detect the leaf disease using image processing.

5 PROBLEM DEFINATION Project aims at maintaining the stable environment inside greenhouse, and also detecting the disease using computerized techniques by monitoring the status of the crops in the course duration of crop cultivation using IOT device.

6 LITERATURE SURVEY Sl No Year Authors and Journal Name Of Topic
Features 1. 2016 Nikesh Gondchawar, Prof. Dr. R. S. Kawitkar (IEEE) IOT Based Smart Agriculture[1] Smart irrigation with smart control and intelligent decision making based on accurate real time field data. Smart warehouse management which includes temperature maintenance, humidity maintenance and theft detection in the warehouse. 2 2015 Karan Kansara, Vishal Zaveri Sensor based Automated Irrigation System with IOT [2] Objective of this paper is to provide an automatic irrigation system thereby saving time, money & power of the farmer automatic environmental change detection

7 3 2015 Sushmita Sathe (IEEE) Wireless Sensor Technologies for the Development of Agriculture[5] Temperature Sensor, Humidity Sensor and Soil Moisture Sensor for the field data and central server for the data processing 4 Prof. Pranit Kathale, Jyoti Mankari Payal Shire A review on Monitoring & Controlling System for the Operation of Greenhouse Environment[6] Automated system for the Monitoring and Controlling Operations of Greenhouse Environment and other agricultural sectors decrease in cost. 5 2016 Viswanath Naik.S, S.Pushpa Bai, Rajesh.P IoT Based Green House Monitoring System[7] (Base Paper) Soil moisture sensor and temperature sensor have been integrated with the proposed control system.

8 POSSIBLE OUTCOMES To Increase the yield of crop/plant compare to basic agriculture. Reduces the loss due to diseases that arise from the variation of vital parameters such as temperature, humidity and soil-moisture. Able to control the diseases in initial stage by applying the spray solution manually with respect the disease.
