2 Call for hosts This year aplication period : April-June Criteria:
location ability to manage the logistical and administrative aspects of MCC or similar academic events plan for covering costs of organization from participant fees and independent fundraising Ability to manage publicizing the EMC2 Ability to manage selection of Panellists Demonstrated commitment to the study of international economic law or international dispute resolution through inter alia courses in the host school's curriculum or past participation of teams from the host in the EMC2 Documents needed: A motivation letter A draft budget A draft agenda

3 Participants Team members Coaches Panellists VP MCC EI? Observers?
A maximum participation fee of 65 EUR/day/participant.

4 OC Division logistics panellists (2 and 3 can be the same);
sponsors and Sponsor’s Fair Teams (it can be useful to have several people to take care of the teams’ well being if your human resources allow it) ELSA liaison (either 1 or 2 can do this job as well) Award Ceremony and Gala Dinner It can also be useful to have someone trustworthy who is not the overall head of the ROC to be in special charge of the Timekeepers, having read the guidelines thoroughly.

5 Responsibilities - RRO
The host has to provide accommodation, meals, opening and award ceremony, sponsors reception and pleading rooms Memorandum of Understanding Monthly skype meetings and reporting Communication with teams and Panellists Cover travels and accommodation of Panellists Cover accommodation and lodging expences of VP MCC Local fundraising Include EMC2 general partners in marketing materials

8 Day 1 – opening evening Arrival of the teams
Competition registration desk Team packages OC and timekeepers meeting Official welcome reception Draw of the teams schedule Welcoming speeches

Whilst the original Respondents will be matched to opposite group (e.g. Team 21 was originally in Group 4 and is now in Group 1)

10 Day 2 – preliminary rounds
The Preliminary Rounds will be conducted as per the Competition Draw – all the teams participate ROC staff is required to be at the Competition Venue and setup rooms as required approximately 1 (one) hour prior to the Competition Panellists briefing Coffee breaks Teams holding room OC room, Panellists room Venues for 3 pleadings at the same time

11 Day 3 – preliminary rounds
The same prodecure as on the first day of the preliminary rounds, different sides Different Panellists judging different teams A sponsors reception is organized on the second day of pleadings, projector and possibility to show short promotional videos required Semifinalists announcement

12 Day 4 – elimination rounds, award ceremony
Semifinals, 2 at the same time, open to public announcement Grand Final, open to public Time to calculate the scores Award dinner, participation diplomas and awards announcements Closing speeches

13 Day 5 – departure Panellists and competitors depart in the morning
