Why attend CrossRoad? (This section is meant to be personal, it’s an opportunity to articulate why CR is important to you.) What is CrossRoad? CrossRoad is a ten-day academic summer institute that prepares high school juniors and seniors to make big life decisions and connect with the Orthodox Christian theological and spiritual tradition

What is CrossRoad? Location: Sessions 1 & 2 (Hellenic College Holy Cross- Boston, MA); Session 3 (North Park University-Chicago, IL) CrossRoad Staff: Graduate theology students who come with prior youth work experience, demonstrate excellent leadership qualities, and undergo approximately 100 hours of training before the program

What happens at CrossRoad?
Faith education Participants participate in interactive workshops led by their staff on topics such as: pop culture, sanctification of creation, technology, suffering, faith & science, etc. Participants engage in classes during four of the ten days of CrossRoad receiving extensive instruction from our country’s finest theologians and Scripture scholars Throughout all courses, speaker presentations, and staff-led sessions, participants are encouraged to ask and discuss life’s big questions. They are given extensive time and space to reflect on how their faith informs the entirety of their life
