2. The Dark Ages While watching the video, write three characteristics of this time in history.
The Dark Ages were the time in Europe between the fall of Western Rome and the beginning of the Renaissance (~ CE). It was a time plagued by war & disease.

Invasions by Angles, Saxons, Magyars & Vikings disrupted the social, economic and political order of Europe.
