Must be performed (class or just me)

Choose a topic that you have a strong opinion about.
Step 2 – Brainstorming
Write down words or phrases that come to mind.
Step 3 – Start writing
Spoken word poetry is free flowing. Don’t worry about punctuation or spelling – this poem will be spoken.
Step 4 – Watch
Watch 2-3 performers for inspiration
Step 5 – Edit
Proofread or ask a friend to edit.
Step 6 – Perform
Perform for the class or for Ms. Carey (at lunch)
