2. 2017 COIRS Law Enforcement Template
From 12/19/2017 until the dispatching transition (again - tentatively scheduled for 1/9/2018), all radios must be manually tuned in to Zone 12, UAPD DISP.
On 1/9/2018 NRECC will take over Police Dispatching operations from Upper Arlington. This includes becoming the primary answering point (PSAP) for ALL 911 telephone calls.
UAPD radios will start operating on Zones 11 1/9/2018.

3. 2017 COIRS Law Enforcement Template
When you change over to Zone 11, you will be able to scan the COIRS talkgroups, with UA PTL 1 being the priority channel.
The cross system scan function is not enabled. It does not allow for prioritizing COIRS talkgroups if scanning COIRS and MARCS.

The red dot is the newest site that is behind Station 72.

You have access to all the talkgroups.
They are not receive only. You can transmit and talk to any of these agencies, and its urged when time is of the essence.
I tried to group some of the suburban departments in the same zones as CPD. ie. Westerville in zone 1.

Dublin’s home is zone 6.
Hilliard’s home is zone 9
COIRSLE – Statewide MARCS talkgroup that is monitored 24/7.
XSO-25 – Franklin County hailing channel. Since LEERN is no longer in existence, you should go directly to that agencies talkgroup. This is a backup.

COIRSDET & DUB CIU 1 will only be in select Dublin radios.
COIRSDET & HIL DET 1 will only be in select Hilliard radios.

8. 2017 COIRS Law Enforcement Template
NW TRNG 1 – 4 are used by our police and fire for training. These talkgroups are not monitored unless were participating in the training.
Please check in with NRECC to request a training channel.

UA DET 1 & COIRS DET will only be in select UA radios.
UAPD will be in zone 12 till changover.
Fire is dispatched on NW Alert

10. 2017 COIRS Law Enforcement Template
Zone 17 & 18 is Delaware.
Zone 19 is Columbus traffic and events.
Zone 20 is Grove City.

11. 2017 COIRS Law Enforcement Template
Zone 21 is Westerville.
Zone 22 is FCSO.
Zone 23 is OSU.
Zone 21 is local OSP posts.
Zone 25 is Union County, Madison and London.

12. 2017 COIRS Law Enforcement Template
Zone’s are MARCS interop talkgroups.
Zone 30 is one of MARCS portable towers.
These talkgroups will say OUT OF RANGE unless you are working somewhere where MARCS has a portable tower up.

These talkgroups will say OUT OF RANGE unless you are working somewhere where MARCS has a portable tower up.

Zone 45 & 46 are interoperable conventional channels.

Zone’s 47 – 50 are interoperable talkgroups. These are programmed into every police & fire radio in the county in these exact zones.
