2 The Point of the Diet It is a low carbohydrate diet, usually recommended for weight loss. Proponents of this diet claim that you can lose weight eating as much protein and fat as you want, as long as you avoid foods high in carbs. In the past 12 years, over 20 studies have shown that low-carb diets are effective for weight loss (without calorie counting), and can lead to various health improvements.

3 What are the rules of the Diet
You must eat a reduced amount or no carbohydrates in return must eat proteins and saturated fats You must eat at the regular periods of time such as breakfast, lunch, and dinner and no swaying from the diet

4 What is the difference between it and healthy eating
Differences include Low Carbohydrates Greater amounts of Meat and Proteins Meant to help with weight loss Meant to improve blood sugar, HDL, and a number of other groups

5 Result You should have more weight loss than if you were doing a low fat diet Have better improvements in your blood sugar Have better improvements in your HDL (“good” cholesterol) Have better improvements in multiple other health markers
