Incorporated in 1995, the Domus Corporation is a not-for-profit corporation whose purpose is to develop housing in the four northern New Jersey counties of Hudson, Essex, Bergen and Union, and to provide a broad range of housing and housing-related support services to persons in need.
Domus functions as the housing development corporation on all Archdiocesan permanent-housing initiatives.

Domus understands and successfully functions within the various rules and regulations, including those mandated by the local and State government, as well as the funding agencies.
Our established relationships - which are the direct result of our reputation, with the counties and HUD - enable us to bring projects to occupancy in as little as 12 months.

Domus receives financial and administrative support from Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Newark (CCAN). Catholic Charities is the non-sectarian, not-for-profit social service corporation of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Newark, New Jersey. One of New Jersey's oldest and largest social service agencies, CCAN helps individuals and families in need to acquire assistance and a greater sense of self-worth and dignity.
