1 “Reclaiming America’s Heritage
One Barn at a Time”

2 “This isn’t just business: it is personal.”
America's heritage has stood in the fields and beside farm houses for over a century in the form of barns. Historic barns are becoming more difficult to find, and due to the increase in commercially zoned land are being destroyed. Reclaimed Barns & Beams reclaims the wood from these hand hewed, pinned barns that have stood the tests of time. It is our hope that we can transform this wood into vintage farm tables, chairs, ceiling beams, mantles and more. This will give us a chance to keep the history of these barns alive and with us for years to come. “This isn’t just business: it is personal.” The idea that the lumber that we reclaim will now create new memories for families that want to create that rustic look in their home,  a new look for customers sitting by a clad wall in a restaurant, or a designer's vision when building a new home is amazing to us. Reclaimed Barns & Beams reclaims the wood from these hand-hewed, pinned barns that have stood the tests of time. It is our hope that we can transform this wood into vintage farm tables, chairs, ceiling beams, mantles and more. This will give us a chance to keep the history of these barns alive and with you for many generations to come.

5 Having a vision for what you want to create when you are looking at a pile of beams or boards is often difficult. After all it is a pile of wood, how do you get a clad wall out of that? I have provided pictures that will help you see what your piece might look like on the Reclaimed Barns and Beams website. It is filled with videos, how to directions, and ideas for you to use to create with regardless if you purchase your materials here or somewhere else. Unlike many mills and lumber yards Reclaimed Barns and Beams will finish your piece for you if that is what you need. We can sit down together and design the piece you want. Then you can select the Reclaimed Lumber or Live Edge Wood material that you want to use to create it. Kilns, planers, sanders, and other large mill tools are used to prepare the lumber. It is the best of both worlds. Many have trouble talking the mill talk: board foot, checking, species of wood. I did too not long ago. Live and learn. Right! I am a great translator for those that know what they want, but do not speak “Lumber Mill”. For those that do, I am happy to chat with you too.
