2 To the brain… Insomnia A sleep disorder the makes it hard for the person to fall/stay asleep. People with insomnia have one or more of the following symptoms: Difficulty falling asleep Waking up often during the night and having trouble going back to sleep Waking up too early in the morning Feeling tired upon waking

4 To the brain… Lethargy A lack of energy or enthusiasm. Lethargy can cause some or all of the following symptoms: changes in mood decreased alertness/ability to think fatigue low energy sluggishness People with lethargy may act as if they are in a daze. They may move more slowly than they usually do.

6 To the throat… Hoarse voice
Hoarseness is an abnormal change in the voice caused by a variety of conditions. The voice may have changes in pitch and volume, ranging from a deep, harsh voice to a weak, raspy voice.

8 To the lungs… Hemoptysis
Spitting up or coughing up blood coming from the respiratory tract. Hemoptysis occurs when tiny blood vessels that line the lung airways are broken.

Bronchospasm is a temporary narrowing of the bronchi (airways into the lungs) caused by contraction of the muscles in the lung walls, by inflammation of the lung lining, or by a combination of both. Cough is a major symptom, wheezing and tightness in the chest are also very common.

12 To the lungs… Dyspnea Dyspnea, dyspnoea, shortness of breath, or breathlessness is the feeling or feelings associated with impaired breathing. It is often described as an intense tightening in the chest or feeling of suffocation. Depending on the cause, you may experience shortness of breath just once or have recurring episodes that could become constant.

Eosinophilia is a higher than normal level of eosinophils. Eosinophils are a type of disease-fighting white blood cell. You can have high levels of eosinophils in your blood (blood eosinophilia). High levels of eosinophils may also occur in your body's tissues at the site of an infection or inflammation (tissue eosinophilia)

16 To the nose… Rhinorrhea
Rhinorrhea or rhinorrhoea is a condition where the nasal cavity is filled with a significant amount of mucus fluid. The condition, commonly known as a runny nose, occurs relatively frequently. Rhinorrhea is a common symptom of allergies or certain diseases, such as the common cold or hay fever.

18 To the teeth… Bruxism Bruxism (BRUK-siz-um) is a condition in which you grind, gnash or clench your teeth. If you have bruxism, you may unconsciously clench your teeth together during the day, or clench or grind them at night (sleep bruxism).

19 Bruxism Symptoms: Teeth grinding or clenching, which may be loud enough to awaken your sleep partner Teeth that are flattened, fractured, chipped or loose Worn tooth enamel, exposing deeper layers of your tooth Increased tooth sensitivity Jaw or face pain or soreness Tired or tight jaw muscles Dull headache originating in the temples Damage from chewing on the inside of your cheek Indentations on your tongue

21 To the skin… Pruritus Pruritus, or itch, is defined as an unpleasant sensation that provokes the desire to scratch. Certain systemic diseases have long been known to cause pruritus that ranges in intensity from a mild annoyance to an intractable, disabling condition. Depending on the cause of your itchy skin, it may appear normal. Or it may be red or rough or have bumps or blisters.
