Color Patterns Length Words ABC Order Silly Sentences Create-a-Story
Select one activity to practice your Spelling words every night. Choose a different activity each night of the week, but next week you can repeat an activity that you’ve already done. Turn in all of these activities at the end of the week. Don’t mark over the boxes below since you’ll be using this menu all month. Happy Spelling! Color Patterns For 10 Spelling words, write the vowels in one color and the consonants in another color. Length Words Count the number of letters in 10 Spelling words. Then write the words in order from shortest to longest. ABC Order Write 10 of your Spelling words in alphabetical order. Silly Sentences Write a silly sentence for 5 of your Spelling words. Underline your Spelling words. Create-a-Story Use 7 of your Spelling words to write a creative story. Underline your Spelling words. Fancy Font Use your fanciest writing to write your words with or other letters! SpellingCity.com Write a sentence telling how you practiced your words online and have a grown-up sign your Spelling booklet. Circle Words For 10 Spelling words, write each Spelling word and circle the vowels in each Spelling word. Word Pyramids Create a word pyramid for 5 of your hardest words. c ca cat Spelling Letter Using 7 or more Spelling words, write a friendly letter to your teacher. Underline your Spelling words. Outline Words Choose 10 Spelling words and write them. Then trace around the outside of each of them. Word Poem Create a poem using 6 of your Spelling words. Underline your Spelling words. Jumping Jack Words Do jumping jacks as you spell each word - 1 jump for each letter. Write each word on your paper. Spelling Sentences For 8 of your Spelling words, write a sentence showing you know what each word means. Trio Words For 7 of your hardest words, write them three times each in three different colors. Create-Your-Own Create your own way to practice your Spelling words.
